“I am excited to work with Legacy Autosport in 2020 and look forward to working with the Meyer family again. The passion and drive is evident,” said Curry.

“For me the opportunity to work with the younger generation of drivers and to help them achieve their goals is rewarding.”

Away from the track, Curry has spent his free time coaching youth athletics and cheering on his children. “I enjoy sharing my passion for competition and encouraging the importance of camaraderie and teamwork.”

“I’ve known Matt since I started racing and I use to go with my dad to the old Team Menard Indy car shop,” said Owner of Legacy Autosport Mike Meyer. “I’m super excited to put this program together with Matt and take our team to another level. I think his years of experience in IndyCar, Champ Car and all of the programs that he has successfully developed make him a great fit. His experience is really going to help the younger drivers quickly adapt to these cars and give them the best opportunity to progress to be a championship driver.”

As Legacy Autosport finishes up the fine tuning on their USF2000 cars and Indy Pro 2000 car, they will begin their extensive pre-season testing program for the 2020 season. There is even more exciting news to come! “We still have one seat available for USF2000 and one seat for Indy Pro 2000,” said Meyer. With Matt as Engineering Director of Legacy Autosport, it will be exciting to see what will happen at the season opener in St. Petersburg, March 13th-15th, and beyond.
