Brownsburg, IN — Promising young driver Kyle Kaiser prepares to launch his second year in the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires.

Anxious to capitalize off the experience gained during his 2013 rookie season, Kaiser is looking forward to being part of the winning tradition at Juncos Racing.

“During the off season I’ve had the opportunity to see the passion and hard work Juncos Racing puts into its program, and I’m very confident and optimistic for the new season,” said Kaiser. “This year will also be my first time driving with teammates, which will only be more advantageous for myself and the team every race weekend.”

By the fall of 2012, Kaiser joined the “Mazda Road to Indy” making his professional open-wheel debut at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Pro Mazda. Following his debut, he competed as a rookie in a full 2013 season, finishing seventh overall and placing in the top five in multiple races.

In the seven years prior to advancing to open-wheel cars, Kaiser competed at various levels of karting — many of which ended in podium finishes, including a Grand National Championship. In 2010, he competed in the Skip Barber Western Regional Championship, finishing second overall and claiming the “Rookie of the Year” title. The following year, Kaiser finished third overall in the 2011 Skip Barber Western Regional Championship before moving on to claim his first championship in the 2012 Formula Car Challenge presented by Goodyear Tires.

Juncos Racing’s team owner Ricardo Juncos has complete faith in Kaiser’s abilities and predicts a successful future for the young driver.

“We had the chance to test Kyle last December in the Open Test at Barber," mentioned Juncos. “He left a very good impression on the whole team, and he showed excellent technique and solid personality — all of which are good qualities to have as a race car driver.”

Envisioning the upcoming season, Juncos added: “I’m very happy with his commitment to us for this 2014 season. This will be his second year in the Pro Mazda. I have no doubt that he will be at the top soon and will fight for wins.”

“I am very excited to get back into the Pro Mazda Championship," added Kaiser. "With more teams and cars entering the series this year, it will be even more competitive than my rookie season. With Spencer [Pigot], Julia [Ballario], Jose [Gutierrez] and myself, I know Juncos will be a strong contender for the championship.”

Kaiser will join his teammates in the Streets of St. Petersburg for the 2014 Pro Mazda Championship opener.

About Juncos Racing: Stationed in Buenos Aires, Argentina and headed by Ricardo Juncos, Juncos Racing became a full-service Formula Racing team in 1997. By 2003, the team relocated to Miami, Fla., as a full-service karting team. During its first few years in the U.S., the team picked up 19 local, regional and national karting titles. Moving right along, Juncos Racing not only moved operations north to Indiana, but it developed into a formula open-wheel racing team in 2008. Now, the team was in full swing, dedicating most of its time preparing drivers and crew members for the new type of racing.

Following this transitional year, Juncos Racing participated in its first formula open-wheel series—the 2009 Pro Mazda Championship.

Despite challenges early in the season, the team gained multiple wins, second in the driver’s championship, and third in the team championship. By 2012, the team’s operations expanded to include cars in the Indy Lights series. Juncos Racing currently operates out of Brownsburg, Ind.
