Enders PM Debut 2018

Birmingham, Ala. - Kory Enders will move up the Mazda Road to Indy ladder into the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires this weekend at the Grand Prix of Alabama in an effort to refine his race craft as well as help DEForce Racing develop their Tatuus-Mazda PM-18.

Enders will maximize his time at Barber Motorsports Park by taking the wheel of the #11 DEForce Racing machine for rounds 3 and 4 of the Pro Mazda Championship. With two practice sessions in the books, Ender’s will have his first qualifying this afternoon from 2:15 p.m. to 2:35 p.m. EDT.

The Sugar Land, Texas native will take to the 2.3 mile, 17-turn road course for Race 1 of the weekend at 12:50 p.m. EDT on Saturday. Race 2 will close the busy weekend of racing bright and early at 9:45 a.m. EDT on Sunday morning.

KORY ENDERS - #11 DEForce Racing

“This is my second time here at Barber Motorsports Park in the Pro Mazda. The first time was a few months ago for the test. I’m honestly enjoying it so much more now. I’m a little bit more comfortable with the car. It’s a lot to handle coming from the USF2000. It has extra downforce and bigger tires, but I really do enjoy driving it because it’s a great experience for me to learn how to drive a high downforce car. It helps with braking and pressure and being able to adapt to different cars and different environments. Barber Motorsports Park is one of my favorite tracks on the calendar because of the elevation changes and the long flowing corners."
